    I upgraded to these pedals from Shimano XT spd pedals. My knees appreciate the extra lateral float over the Shimano pedals, and they remain easy to clip in and out. They lack some of the positive click of the clip in action, but that hasn’t been a dealbreaker for me. I haven’t had any maintenance or reliability issues.
