Great
So far so good. I used this to go clipless on my winter single speed commuter. No problems so far. Was a bit hard to clip in at first but not any more. Bulkier than the shimano pedals but works just the same.

I just mounted them on the bike 6 hours ago; I've got three bikes, just hadn't gotten to mounting these on the GT. Eye candy -- they look great. Better than that, and far more important than that, I've got to use considerable juice when jamming my clips onto these pedals. But once they're in, you're golden -- they hold tight. Very surprising to me, given how they hold so tight when pedaling, they are incredibly easy to kick free from. These things are well designed. Made for a really nice tight fit yet easy to kick free. What's not to love with these things? I'm going to buy another pair for one of my other bikes. In my experience, I go down at least once a year, maybe I avg1.5 a year; these being so easy to kick free from Id bet I go down less, not to mention ride a bit crazier because of my trust of these pedals. But you a pair, you'll be glad you did.

I needed these in a hurry to replace my older and nicer pedals for an upcoming race. They worked ok but I'm not that happy with the bearings and they weigh a bit more than I'd like. The price was very reasonable but they are coming off my bike and going into the spare pedals box in my home shop.

Bought these for indoor bike use and they did not last a year. No mud, water or harsh use, fell apart during spin class.

They worked great...for a while. After a few months of semi daily usage, one of the pedals literally broke apart off the spindle, spilling little ball bearings over the floor. We had them mounted on a Peloton spin bike and the riders were around 200lb. This could have been catastrophic if this were on a mountain bike and on the trail. The bearings are not engineered for sustained use, at least not for adults. Be warned!

I bought some of these in a different site, but used the other reviews here to ultimately make the purchase. Regarding the bearings, yes, my pedals (2pair) came with bearings that were rough. To the non-handy, this means when you spin the pedal while holding the axle still, you can feel the resistance in the ball bearings as they spin around. Not a good thing. This can lead to premature failure. Another reviewer notes the pedals burst apart and bearings flew all over. Well guess what. Bearings need grease. It actually says this in the literature that comes with the pedals, and kind of tells you how to regrease them. If you buy $200 leading brand pedals, their manual will say to regrease as needed also. Shame mine didn't come well greased, maybe old or something. When I took apart the pedal, most of the balls just fell out, meaning there was not enough grease really keeping them stuck in. I repacked them and they spin much better now. The reviewer who notes his pedals exploding said the balls flew everywhere. This wouldn't happen if the pedals were greased. Don't buy these if you want to gamble on them being improperly greased, and don't know how to take them apart (looking at you peloton/spin folks) . If youve got a socket wrench set, 6mm Allen, and some grease, and half an hour, it could be worth your while. Also I counted 14 balls in each race (2 sets/pedal), so remember this review when your on the floor looking for that 15th ball that doesn't exist.
