Anyway, who knows how good a cyclist I could have become IF I had a comfortable saddle like this one back in the days. The manufacturer doesnt lie, it relieves ALL the pressure in your groin region. Let's you relax and really start riding. It takes many rides to get used to the fact you're not uncomfortable and you can really sit and put all your weight on your saddle. You now have to get used to your new body mechanics, and that takes a while because everything changes like your pedal stroke, cadence, and getting used to the fact you don't have to stand on the pedals and stretch as much as you used to to give yourself relief.
Im still doing some micro adjustments, but, wow, am I happy! At 6 feet tall and 180 pounds I am now going to move to 170 cranks with a 50/34 set up seeing that I can now spin a faster cadence and put more power down....because I am more comfortable on my saddle!
I hope this helps! Please excuse any typos.

Oh. My. God.
Where the heck was this saddle when I started riding? I have *zero* numbness with this, even on extended rides. Yeah, it takes some adjusting because it's an odd shape (I had to make some adjustments to my bars on height and such to compensate for being closer to them), but to be able to ride for as long/far as I want without anything going numb?
Try the saddle. If you've got bits going numb, try this saddle. ISM is a great company, and their customer service was wonderful in helping me figure out which saddle would work for me before I made the purchase. I hope they never stop making these noseless saddles!
The discomfort might eventually go away, but it was causing some deeper bruising and the chaffing is a concern. I tried an ISM PN 3.0 and it addressed ALL those problems - I've never had a more comfortable saddle. And still zero numbness. Interestingly I found the 40 series foam on the PR2.0 to feel more firm than the 30 series on the PN 3.0. My only complaint is that the PN 3.0 is not quite wide enough in the rear to accommodate an upright riding position while the PR 2.0 is much better for upright riding. But since I'm mostly on aerobars or bent on the hoods or drops it's not really an issue.
I can see how this saddle would work for the right physiology. But if you find split-nose saddles cause chaffing for you, this one probably won't work.
BTW my bum width is 135mm so the 145mm width on this saddle is perfect for me. How do you determine your ride width, sit on a piece of cardboard, (you have to sit stright up). Measure the imprint width your bum makes in millimeters then add 10mm and there you go, that is the seat width you need.
The gap up front is also very good for my riding. I was not uncomfortable at all during this 55 min ride. I will do a 1 1/2 hour ride tomorrow and get back to you, but so far this is a very good saddle, and is well made.
