One clear wore out completely after only 109 miles. The clear causes me to slip and fall. The pedals are cumbersome and difficult to lock into. I've been riding clipless for years. I thought it was a matter of just getting used to them, but I'm going to have to try a different style.

A good pair of starter cleats. I had no idea what to buy as these were my first set and they were very easy to isntall on the bike as well as the cleats on the shoes. I'm finally starting to get the hang of them and now i cant understand how people ride without cleats!

Just make sure that you locate the ball of your foot and that the cleats are attached there. Also, I had issues of my cleats getting loose over rides so I now make sure i carry my allen wrench to make sure they dont come loose on the shoe.

Using these for a few weeks now with no complaints. Might be a little on the heavy side but they seem durable and they work well.

Excellent pedals and cleat combination for a fair price. While you could be a weight weenie and spend $100+ more on the ultegra or 105 pedals to save some weight, these for the price (with cleats) are and an excellent deal. The adjustable nature of these are easy as you are able to dial the spring down to a easy tension (for those with knee issues or for those who want a quick escape, ie city riders such as myself) However, the top of the range is secure as the best of them and unless you're road racing, is almost too secure.

In my honest opinion, these are just fine for starter pedals, but upgrading to the Shimano 105 SPDsl pedals might just be worth it. The cleats that come in the box are a slightly different shade of yellow as your typical +/- 6degree float cleats. This means that they are in fact slightly lower quality and will wear down more quickly. Additionally, installing or swapping these pedals can be a big pain because you need a wrench to install them. They do not go on from the inside with an 8mm allen wrench like the nicer models do. As for performance, the do the trick. They were incredibly hard to clip in to at first but it only took a couple rides to break them in a little. I have never had any issues like unclipping by mistake. These will be a fine pedal for someone who wants to start off competitive cycling or just wants to try clipless pedals. There is definitely much better out there, but for the price, they will certainly do the trick.

Clipless pedals work ok but I don't think they were new. Tension on right pedal can't be adjusted because the allen bolt appears to be stripped. Left one had tool marks where the pedal attaches to the bike. Tension adjustment works somewhat on left pedal but won't tighten to the same level as the where the right pedal is stuck.

Fantastic purchase, they came from China but today what doesn't and it took only 2 weeks to arrive and saved me 30 dollars in doing so. They bolted right on to the cranks with ease and the cleats mounted onto the shoes with ease. Wouldn't do it any other way.
Yes I would recommend this purchase to anyone.
Can you get more expensive clipless pedals sure but for the money and being 50 to 60 mile per week rider why spend that kind of money to save on a few and I mean few ounces of weight.
