Work well if you know the install prep and tricks
Great pads for bikes that use non-threaded post brake shoes. Proper installation is key for best stopping power and avoiding brake pad squeal.A few installation tricks--When the pads arrive, sand the faces with 80 grit sand paper on a flat bench. Move the pads lengthwise along the sandpaper until the pad surface has fine sanding lines.-Mind the "direction" arrows on the pads - they should point to the front of the wheels- "Toeing" the pads is critical. The front of the pad must contact the rim first. I put a zip tie around the back of the pad and use that as an installation spacer. When I get the pads tight, I remove the zip tie and it's properly spaced (see photo).-Clean the wheel rims with rubbing alcohol or Brake Kleen. Dirty rims = squeal. If you follow those steps, these pads should work great. I initially skipped the sanding step and I regretted it because the pads squealed like a piglet. Once I sanded them, quiet ensued. Hope that helps!
