It was developed primarily for use as a cycling GPS computer, but–by mounting it to a wrist strap–Lezyne frees the Micro GPS Watch from the handlebar, so it can accompany you on bicycle or bipedal adventures. Whether you’re wearing stiff, carbon-soled cycling shoes or stiff, steel-shank trekking boots, the Micro GPS Watch’s satellite connectivity and universal wireless compatibility mean you’ll be able to map your route and keep track of your biometrics. It’s a wrist-mounted atlas for your body and the world around it. The Micro’s name is a bit misleading, because it’s actually got almost all of the functionality of many larger, more expensive GPS units . This includes Lezyne’s own Super GPS, and the differences between the two come down to the Super’s GLONASS connectivity, additional data storage, and larger screen. The added features and space mean the Super is also too large to function as a watch, recommending the Micro GPS Watch for any adventurer who wants GPS for all activities, not just cycling, and has no use for GLONASS because they’re not touring the Russian backcountry anytime soon. Like the Super, the Micro GPS also supplements the usual GPS connectivity with a built-in accelerometer, which reduces the dead spots and wonky readings that occasionally result when a device is communicating on a sub-meter scale with a positioning satellite some 12,550 miles removed. As with all of Lezyne’s latest generation of GPS units, the Micro Watch uses smartphones as portals to link up with Lezyne’s Ally app to create and manage routes, give live updates on segments, and autosync with third-party training apps. Pairing the GPS tracking with Ally means you’ll always be aware of where you are and where you’re heading, but the ability to toggle smartphone notifications on or off lets you choose whether you want to stay in touch during post-work intervals or …

Product Features

Housing Material: CNC-machined aluminum, synthetic

Strap Material: TPR (thermoplastic elastomer)

Face Material: synthetic

Movement: digital

Odometer: yes

Housing Material: CNC-machined aluminum, synthetic

Strap Material: TPR (thermoplastic elastomer)

Face Material: synthetic

Movement: digital

Odometer: yes

[4

post-162","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-cycling-gps-units
["GET
