When I received the mount, it did not come with a rubber band/spacer to fit this on a 31.8 handlebar. I installed it thinking it wasnt necessary but it was completely loose when I tightened the screw. I can see there was a bit of space between the clamp and the handlebar. I had a rubber spacer from something else and tried using it for a spacer. It shimmed it perfectly and now the mount works perfect. It would have been a 5 star rating if I had received everything necessary to properly install the mount.
